Deputada Daniela Reinehr pede urgência na votação do Projeto de Lei
During a session at the Brazilian Chamber of Deputies on Wednesday (4), federal deputy Daniela Reinehr asked the House President, Hugo Motta, for faster voting on Bill 4309/2023. The proposal deals with the regulation of the sale of reconstituted dairy products in Brazil and, according to the parliamentarian, has already been approved in all the committees it has gone through, including the Committee on Constitution and Justice (CCJ), leaving only the plenary analysis pending.
The purpose of the project is to establish rules for the identification and marketing of products made from reconstituted powdered milk, ensuring greater transparency to the consumer and clearer competition conditions in the dairy market. The parliamentarian argues that the measure aims to differentiate these products from those produced from fresh milk, especially regarding imported items used in production.
The proposal was also linked to the economic impact of the dairy chain in Santa Catarina, a state that is among the main producers in the country. According to data mentioned by the deputy, the annual production in Santa Catarina is around 3.3 billion liters, involving about 24 thousand rural producers.
The Chamber President indicated the possibility of discussing the topic in a meeting with the parliamentarian next week.
